St. Patrick’s Day, once a solemn Irish religious affair, has morphed into a global green extravaganza, where wearing anything but green might get you pinched. Dank Poet Dispensary jumps on the bandwagon, inviting everyone to embrace the tradition of “going green” with a twist – in the kitchen!
Picture this: THC-infused sugar cookies topped with frosting so green, it makes leprechauns jealous. Because what’s more festive than getting high on St. Paddy’s Day? Plus, it’s the only time of year where green food doesn’t automatically mean it’s expired.
Forget about the standard party fare – we’re talking about elevating your celebration with a little herbal enhancement. Because nothing says “Irish spirit” like munching on cookies that could make a leprechaun giggle.
So this March 17th, join Dank Poet Dispensary in raising a toast to St. Patrick, green food coloring, and the boundless creativity of partygoers everywhere. After all, if you can’t find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, you might as well settle for a plate of THC-infused cookies and call it a day. Cheers to a St. Patrick’s Day celebration that’s as green as it gets – both literally and figuratively!
Infused St Patrick’s Day Sugar Cookies
Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking poweder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ¼ cups sugar
- 1 cup butter, room temperature
- 1 egg, room temperature
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 max red line dose from Dablicator oil applicator (~5.5mg THC per serving)
- Whisk the flour, baking powder and salt together.
- In a separate bowl, mix the butter, oil from the Dablicator oil applicator, and sugar together.
- Whisk the egg and the vanilla into the butter mixture. Add the dry ingredients and continue mixing until the dough is formed.
- Shape the dough into 1 inch round balls and place them onto 2 parchment lined baking sheets and bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes (Tip: wet hands if you’re having a hard time rolling the dough due to it being sticky.)
- Remove the cookies from the oven as they get a little color and start to crack across the center. Allow them to cool for 1-2 minutes.
- Once cooled completely, decorate with buttercream frosting (colored green, of course!) with the recipe below.
