Founding Partners Chris, Deborah, and Sonia are excited to merge their unique backgrounds to bring the community of Washington, NJ something special - a boutique dispensary that will improve life through creative arts, cannabis, and education.
At Dank Poet, we proudly infuse our brand with arts and literature. We know our visitors all have unique stories, backgrounds and preferences that direct their choices. This is why we call our customers “authors” and our budtenders “muses”; we want to partner with you on your journey with cannabis. In addition to offering a variety of superior products, our boutique will also offer a full line of accessories for your safe enjoyment of cannabis, as well as a wide array of educational materials to ensure our "Authors" are well informed.
Our Future
Chris Caruso founded Dank Poet and began the process to open a dispensary several years ago. We received municipality approval, purchased the building, and are finishing the build out now with the intent to open in mid June.

Chief Executive Officer
Chris has over 20 years of sales experience within the retail & financial sectors, and he plans to apply this vast experience to operate Dank Poet Dispensary. His prior experience managing a hemp-derived CBD store directly translates into the skill set needed to run a successful recreational adult-use cannabis retail boutique. He looks forward to Dank Poet Dispensary positively contributing to the Washington Borough community.
Deborah Snow
Chief Operating Officer
Building relationships and engaging others to create meaningful change are the foundations of Deborah’s professional and personal endeavors. With over 25 years experience in relationship development, customer service, sales, training, and business management, Deborah is passionate about individual and community growth. Her professional experience includes leadership positions in both corporate and nonprofit settings. Deborah is especially excited to lead Dank Poet Dispensary's Community Impact programs to educate and enhance her Washington neighborhood.
Sonia Mangalick
Chief Financial Officer
With over 25 years of experience in business operations and finance, Sonia’s aptitude for number crunching and creative problem solving will ensure the strength and longevity of Dank Poet Dispensary. Her experience operating small and midsize businesses in different verticals allows her to assist in managing teams and projects effectively, regardless of industry. Sonia is excited to build the community of Washington Borough while growing Dank Poet Dispensary.
